Between the best and the worst, the worst had won..

I love you.
It's been about 3 years and we have spent every moment together, every laugh, every tear, every smile was with you. I don't even remember a day when I was single. When I was on my own. All those freezing nights we spent fooling around outside in the snow building snowmen that never quite turned out like we wanted. Coming in the warm house and you giving me your sweatshirt without me even asking made me feel like we were forever.. Just a sweatshirt made me feel like you loved me right from the beginning..The sweet dinners that you took me too, where you being as handsome as ever, when that one time when I had spaghetti and I got some sauce on my face and you generously and sweetly wiped it off my cheek. It made me feel loved and wanted..And then the summers that we spent at the beach swimming and then watching the orange ball of fire slowly drop from the sky, as if it was dropping right into the teal warm water. As we watched every sunset, we layed on our beach towel with our feet in the warm sand growing colder and colder and the temperature outside changed. Listening to the seagulls as we shared a laugh and exchanged smiles to each other. Besides watching the sunset, we had every day, every early morning at where we had first met. The place that we were both so comfortable with, where we had both spent our entire life's. The place where all your worries went away when you glided you hands into the water pulling your body weight with your arms pushing it behind you and using your legs as is they were propellers moving a ship. The pool. Remember the very first time we met? My first high school swim meet, and it was your sophomore year first swim meet! I thought it was truly love at first sight and I really thought you did too.. but it didn't seem like that after a couple years.. The things I didn't think was true.. the voices of your friends that I didn't want to believe. Because they told me you cheated.. cheated.. you lied to me. Those nights when you said you were going to your "friends" to help him study for chemistry! How could you! All the times we spent together.. then that one night I walked in on you with one Of my friends from the swim team! Hello! I have feelings! And me being a girl I HAVE FEELINGS! It's like you didn't care at all.. at that moment when I saw you kissing "that girl" as passionate as you "used" to kiss me. My stomach was in knots.. I was disgusted with you and still am! With you sending me those horrifying texts that I thought you would never say to me! We were fighting so much it was so unhealthy.. we would be fine one day and I was supposedly say one thing wrong and your would go off on me.. it just wasn't good so as sad and as stressed as I am this is the best for both of us..
I love you.
   Bye.

Home Alone Revenge

Home Alone Revenge

Everyone knows this Christmas movie, probably one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time! As most of the people on the face of this earth know what this movie is about but if not your basically not living! This movies so super funny and it just never gets old every time I watch it! So for you weird people who haven't watched it here's a background story on it! This little boy Kevin gets left home alone hence the name "Home Alone" ha ha! But anyways and his family goes to Paris for the holidays, once his parents get on the plane they realize they are missing a kid! Kevin! So once they get to the airport they try and find a flight home there isn't one until the next morning but his mom cant wait so she tries to find another way to get back home. While this is all going on Kevin is back home having the time of his life  eating and doing whatever and as this is happening there are two robbers that know that his family is away for the weekend and are going to try and get in his house and steal things. But what the robbers dont know is that Kevin is home. And they soon realize that and so Kevin tries to get them back by setting up boobie traps. to get revenge on the robbers. Basically the whole movie is about Kevin getting revenge on the robbers.

We all know what revenge is  we have all probably done it before, I know I have with my sister its when someone inflicts punishment in return from something someone has done. When someone has done something to you and you just get so many and you just want to get them back so that's what you do. Just like in Home Alone, Kevin wants to get the robbers back for trying to steal from his house.

Revenge is something that is done everyday at all times, it just happens everyone is guilty for doing it. Just like in Hamlet, Hamlet's uncle killed Hamlet's father and now Hamlet has found out and wants to get back/ revenge on his uncle. Not only did Hamlet's uncle kill his father but yet married his mother as well, which i think is just plain disgusting like dude that's my mom... and your my uncle... my dads brother..? That's super super weird. if that happened with my parents I think i would just go crazy, honestly I don't even know what i would do. anyways back to Hamlet, he is going to try and get back at his uncle, well so far that's what he has said he hasn't done anything quite yet. But we will see if I was Hamlet I would totally want revenge one for my father and two that dude married my mom! CREEP!"Merry Christmas you filthy animal!"

Satire of Fairytales

Satire is expressed everywhere, everyday at any time. It is the literacy work of a literature of human behavior by pointing out humor and stupid things people do. In Sherk made by Dream Works films uses satire through the whole movie.

                        Shrek

Shrek is defiantly a different kind of fairytale, how is it that an "ugly ogre could fall in love with the princess"? Or how is it that the "princess can fall in love with an ogre"? In Shrek DreamWorks does an amazing job of using satire, making "fun" of Disney films that we all know and love. If it wasn't for Disney we wouldn't have all the happy ever after fairytales that we do. Shrek is making fun of Disney princess movies. Shrek the ogre trying to save the beautiful princess from the tower to get his swamp back from the prince. Usually the prince is the one to save the princess, not in Shrek. In Shrek, the movie pokes satire around everywhere, Pinocchio is in there with his lying and his nose getting longer, the three blind mice are actually blind. There are also the three little pigs and the big bad wolf, the big "bad" wolf is not portrayed like he is "supposed" to be in the books, he is in a bathing cap and a night gown and also sings at the end of the movie. Also Lord Farquaad is already the ruler of Duloc, his quest to become king makes no sense. Why must he marry a foreign princess to claim his own land? Answer: because it's funny because it's satire. This was written to mock the rules that serve as plot in many classic fairy tales. In the second movie there was a fairy god mother as well like in Cinderella but she doesn’t promote Shrek and Fiona's love, she wants prince Charming her "son" to marry Princess Fiona. I also think it is funny that Donkey a talking donkey falls in love and in the second movie has little dragon/donkey babies. Along with Shrek and Donkey being best friends you would have never thought of an Ogre and a Donkey becoming best friends. As well as when Shrek trys to go and wake up Princess Fiona he goes and shakes her instead of kissing her like in almost every Disney Princess movie. And lastly Princess Fiona is and ogre because she had a spell put on her when she was little which most pretty, beautiful princesses that we all know don’t turn into an ogre.

Shrek is an ogre who becomes the hero of his "fairy tale". Ogres are usually the bad guys so that sets the fairy tale idea on its head. Fiona starts out as a traditional "damsel in distress" princess, but it turns out that she's not really that type of character. She's strong, intelligent, funny, and when Shrek sees her "cursed" self, he accepts all of her, and in fact prefers her cursed ogre self. So that kind of satirizes the whole "princess" themes of fairytales. Not to mention all the pop-culture spoofs and satires in the film: The Matrix (when she's beating up Robin Hood's Men), West Side Story (when Robin Hood's men are dancing while fighting). Dulac is a spoof of Disneyland. This is a video that shows most of Shrek’s Satire within the movie

Shrek is an amazing example of Satire as well as Huckleberry Finn because Shrek and Donkey are best friends and Huck and Jim are also you would have never thought either pair would be together.
